Please note: This particular thread is by invite only.☪Overview ☪ Sauriel, Avalon, and Aerin have lost everything. For reasons unknown to them, they've been exiled from the Otherworld and are left to survive amongst the mortals on Earth. The only evidence that they formerly belonged to the immortal plane beyond are the two jagged scars that lay in place of the wings that once adorned their backs. They seek redemption in order to gain their wings again, but with no recollection of what caused them to fall in the first place it's a journey that will take time. Their fate lies in their ability to unravel the events of their past, but there's a darkness that surrounds the world around them, a darkness that will do anything to see their demise. For these three fallen angels, there's only two paths to their destiny; uncover the truth in hopes of righting their wrongs, or succumb to the shadows and end it all.

The First Dream
My body was overcome with a mixture of feeling. I could hear no more than two things. The most evident sound was the earsplitting roar of the never-ending wind. I am not talking about the wind from opening a car window. This wind was insistent and deafening, resounding a dull hum that was agonizing, where my only attempt of relief was shielding my ears with my hands. The second sound was due to my own accord. The pain, nearly unbearable, caused piercing screams to escape my grated throat; my own ragged breathing only broke up the screams.
When opening my eyes, the wind dried the remaining water and tears spilled over the brim rapidly. I let the tears fall, without taking a second glance. Looking once more would be futile after all, for a black chasm of darkness and the dim silhouettes of distant figures surround me. The space between my shoulder blades tears and shreds, like a blade was taking its unhurried time, being pushed deeper and wider on my flesh. My body was thrown about, distorting my direction from up and down. Tiny needles of pain shoot up my spine. My eyes open hastily to see the cause, only to glimpse white feathers, splattered with scarlet fluid. The ache felt like it was eternal, lasting for days on end, but for all I know, it could have been minutes. Time was ceaseless, and I am starting to believe I will just keep falling; falling into a shadowy abyss with no beginning and no end.

☪Awakening☪ I could only make out shadows at this point. My senses were in overdrive with the deafening sounds of screams around me, wind so cold it cut like daggers that seemed to make it to the bone, and the completely excruciating pain on my back. Our bodies were tumbling through the air, grasping at support that would not come.
Please, please let me die. Let this be over.
My screams felt as if they were bringing a razor blade up my windpipe as it left my mouth, but I couldn't stop. Nothing would stop. There was a sticky wetness on my back that the wind only made more evident. My body convulsed in the air and finally, I made contact. I heard the snapping and cracking of protesting trees, or was it my body that was breaking? More falling, slamming, spiraling out of control and then....nothing.
Everything went dark, and I knew I would be at peace once more.
Pain. So much more pain. My eyes eased open. My body was a tangled mass of limbs laying in a heap on the forest floor. It was damp from a constant downpour of rain, and broken branches and leaves lay scattered around me. I knew whatever injuries I suffered from the fall were only temporary and it was only a matter of time before my body would permit me to take a look around at my surroundings.
My biggest concern was the agonizing pain on my back. Dirt, branches, and leaves had made their way into the gashes that now replaced the wings I once had. Complete and utter devastation came over me like a wave, taking me prisoner under the unforgiving currents and drowning me in despair that I have never known in all of my existence. I cried out, but not because of the pain; it was because of the realization of what I've become.
I have fallen.
There were others, but the curtain of rain would not allow my eyes to see further than a few feet in front of me. I sat up, allowing the rain to wash my wounds. Already I could feel my bones begin to heal. Crawling to the nearest tree, I grasped it for support as I slowly stood up. I looked down, taking myself in; my clothes were shredded beyond repair, barely hanging on to the slight curves of my body. What was left of the fabric clung to me because of the rain, and my wet hair stuck to my face. I walked further into the woods when I began to see a form. Another girl kneeling by a tree, her hands covering her face as her body shook. She was crying, but the sound of the storm prevented me from hearing her from this distance.
I kept walking forward until I was just a few feet away.
"Hello? " I whispered to kneeling girl.
