My ability to face reality has dwindled into a diminutive puddle
For during the hours of darkness where i dance with the devil
he exposes my demons that lurk and revel
I flee from actuality by falling into books
to experience love and adventure without insinuating looks
But never having the courage to tread
into the world that was made in my stead
