The Dissident (work in progress)

In the town of Dorchester, the rich acquire the benefits and are given an easy, carefree life. Often, the upper class teens are rebellious and scandalous, causing mishap and mayhem. Parents can be either overly strict and protective or insouciant about matters involving their children. The poor are only provided with minimal assistance, often scavenging for their food and supplies. Their houses are small, and many are left on the street.
Samantha Knight, age 17, lives with her younger sister, Lucy, after their parent's untimely death 5 years ago. The only remnants of their parents were the ashes and tinders of their old, scorched house. Sam has been caring for her sister since she was 4 years old, and has done well. But, there is a problem. Lucy has fallen sick and Sam does not have the proper medicine for her.
Sam prepares to attend a party only for the rich, planning to take the clothes from the closet of the hostess and impersonate the upper class, an illegal action. There, Sam would obtain the medicine that would restore her sister's health. Little did she know, a teenager named Will Ryder, with hair the color of a raven's feathers and stormy blue eyes, would take notice in her.
